A concise guide to our etiquette, gameplay, and Riichi Gongshi League record system.

Etiquette
- · Golden rule: be friendly to all players. This is a board game, not a battlefield.
- · No loud shouting or playing noisy music in the venue.
- · That's all — enjoy playing mahjong.

Gameplay
- · Traditional capped scoring (no aotenjō).
- · Kiriage Mangan applies.
- · Kazoe Yakuman applies.
- · Atamahane disabled — double / triple ron allowed.
- · Abortive draws such as kyūshu kyūhai and sūkan sanra are not used; a hand ends only by a win or exhaustive draw.
- · The hand continues after the fourth kan, but a fifth kan may not be declared.
- · Double yakuman and combined yakuman are recognized.
- · No west-round extension (nishi-iri).

Riichi Gongshi League System
- · Riichi Gongshi League certified mahjong parlor in Los Angeles.
- · Match records can be associated with Riichi Gongshi League accounts.
- · Global ranking — view local and worldwide standings any time.
- · Matches are recorded under a consistent ruleset.
- · Shared dan-ranking system used by participating parlors, primarily in mainland China.
