Parlor Rules

A short, opinionated set of conventions covering etiquette, gameplay, and our official tournament integration.

Etiquette

· Golden rule: be friendly to all players. This is a board game, not a battlefield.
· No loud shouting or playing noisy music in the venue.
· That's all — enjoy your mahjong time.

Gameplay

· Traditional scoring system (non-Aotenjou).
· Kiriage Mangan applies.
· Kazoe Yakuman applies.
· Atamahane disabled — double / triple ron allowed.
· Game continues unless a player wins or ryukyoku occurs (no 9-terminal draw, etc.).
· Game continues when four kans are called (no further kans allowed).
· Double yakuman recognized; multiple yakuman can combine.
· No nyuu-nishi.
